A man was arrested on Tuesday at 770 Eastern Parkway, after pulling a knife on some Yeshiva bochurim who insisted he return an item he stole earlier this morning.
January 10, 2023: A man was arrested on Tuesday at 770 Eastern Parkway, after pulling a knife on some Yeshiva bochurim who insisted he return an item he stole earlier this morning.
A coat that went missing around 7:20 am on Tuesday, was seen on the perpetrator at around 10 am.
The owner of the coat and his friends asked that the man return the coat, and began following him to the door of the Shul when the thief pulled a knife on them and began to threaten them.
Nearby bochurim heard the commotion and called Shmira volunteers, who restrained him until the police arrived.
The NYPD placed the perp under arrest.
