Shmira Helps Nab a Burglar

Last week, a concerned neighbor called Shmira when he saw a black
female attempting to gain entry into his neighbor’s house. Upon arriving,
Shmira members observed the women trying to open the basement door with
burglar tools. When approached, the woman claimed that “she just left a
shelter and that the house was really hers.” The house was a newly renovated
house on eastern parkway-whose owner was known to Shmira. Shmira immediately
notified the 71 Precinct Anti Crime Unit. When the police arrived, in an
unmarked car, they also observed the woman still attempting to gain entry. The
police immediately placed the women under arrest for attempted burglary.
Shmira was later notified that the women had an outstanding warrant for
her arrest.
Shmira later received a phone call from the executive officer of the71
Precinct. The XO thanked them for their great work in keeping the
community safe. He pointed out the professionalism of the members,
who were able
to control a volatile situation, and at the same time coordinate with police
to affect an arrest.

I like the way when clicking on the pics it will digitally enlarge to almost full screen. I like visiting the CH area at least twice a year, but with such good pics, it will probably increase to more then that. Who needs Google Street View when CH Shmira is producing way more results, and more frequently updated.
As the Crown Heights Alumni (shluchim) read this amazing site, they can be assured that CH is where the shlichas starts. Whatever happens in the CH (even though with its minute-size), it surly has a lot of influence on the shluchim at large. Just like the little country of Israel which is a dot on the map has a major influence on the world at large, so too is the comparison with the CH.
